The Estate of Mr. Bagdasian

Ken Bloom

A juggernaut. Author, director and dearest friend.  Ken's work at NPT was extreaordinary.

Yes ... that is Ken Bloom shooting me with a crossbow on the stage of Northwood High School in SIlver Spring, MD in 1967.  That was the year we graduated from high school and wrote the senior class skit which poked fun of a lot of teachers and even pissed two of them off (truth hurts).  It was our first stab at writing comedy together. Needless to say it was a big hit. Truth be told, I have know Ken since we were in first grade.

Annoyed With Me?

In the lobby of NPT in 1980 or therabouts (that's Elaine Joselovitz in the background) when we were holding a rummage sale to raise money for the theatre.

ON THE AIR - WGMS FM Radio

DRAMATHON '77 - the biggest fund-raisor of the year for NPT - had several shows broadcast live over radio station WGMS FM.  Between plays or musicals we did the fund-raising pitch.  Pictured are the WGMS engineer, WGMS Programming DirectorMike Cuthbert, Ken Bloom and (unknown).

JERRY HERMAN: the lyrics

Ken Bloom (red tie), me and Jerry Herman as Jerry signs my copy of JERRY HERMAN: The Lyrics which Ken authored.
